Terms of Service

Terms for using the Stem Splitter Team audio separation service.

Last updated: 2026-07-22

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of the audio separation service operated by Stem Splitter Team. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

The service accepts supported audio files and uses automated models to separate vocals and instruments. It can provide a limited free preview, individual stems, selected stem packages, and mixed WAV or MP3 exports. Features, supported formats, limits, and model availability may change as the service develops.

User Accounts

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, and activity performed through your account. Notify support promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Audio Rights and Your Content

You retain your rights in audio you upload. You grant us and our processing providers a limited permission to store, transmit, analyze, separate, mix, and return that audio only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

You confirm that you own the audio or have all permissions required to upload and process it. You may not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. Separation does not grant you rights to publish, sell, sample, perform, or redistribute the source recording or generated stems.

Source files, previews, stems, and exports are scheduled to expire after 24 hours. Lifecycle cleanup is asynchronous, and signed download links expire sooner. You are responsible for downloading authorized results before their links expire.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any party.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
  • Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized recordings.
  • Circumvent free-preview, billing, access-control, or rate limits.
  • Reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or automate the service in a way that harms availability or other users.

Payment and Billing

Paid processing uses audio minutes measured from source duration. Selecting one stem or six stems does not change the duration charged for the same job.

  • The monthly subscription includes 50 minutes valid for 31 days; unused minutes do not roll over.
  • The annual subscription includes 600 minutes valid for 365 days.
  • The one-time 50-minute pack does not expire under the current plan terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation prevents the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Prices are displayed in USD. Applicable taxes and the final charge are shown by the payment provider before confirmation.

Refund requests are reviewed individually. Duplicate charges and confirmed service failures will be investigated by support. Any refund remains subject to payment-provider rules and rights required by applicable law.

Free Preview

The free offer is one 60-second preview, intended to help evaluate separation quality. It is not a promise of unlimited free processing, full-length separation, or all paid export options. We may use reasonable technical controls to prevent repeated or abusive preview use.

AI Output and Availability

Audio separation is probabilistic. Results may contain bleed, missing sounds, phase changes, reverb, or other artifacts, especially in dense mixes or between similar instruments. We do not guarantee studio-quality or error-free results for every recording.

Processing time and availability depend on file duration, demand, model providers, storage, and network conditions. We may retry, limit, suspend, or discontinue jobs when needed for security or reliability.

Intellectual Property

The service software, interface, branding, and original site content belong to Stem Splitter Team or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service or third-party trademarks. FL Studio and Image-Line are third-party names; this service is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Image-Line.

Termination

We may restrict or terminate access when you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, misuse billing or preview systems, or materially disrupt the service. You may close your account through available account controls or by contacting support.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every stem will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular project. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stem Splitter Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
